Dutchland Wins Awards for Rotomolded Products

Pictured  – Tim Bean of Exxon Mobil presents Daven Claerbout, Jim Christie and Tom Richmond of Dutchland Plastics with the Product of the Year Award from The Association of Rotational Molders.

Dutchland Plastics was once again recognized for their innovative products at the 2015 ARM Rotomolded Product Competition, this year earning Best Innovative/State-of-the-Art, Best Conversion Product, and Product of the Year Awards. The Association of Rotational Molders presented the awards at the annual conference held in Denver, Colorado on November 4th.

Product of the Year & Best Conversion

The Ice Breaker merchandiser won the top honors as Product of the Year after winning the Best Conversion category. Manufactured for Leer, Inc. the Ice Breaker was developed with bb7 an industrial design company in Madison Wisconsin. Dutchland, Leer and bb7 worked together to redesign the familiar ice merchandisers that have essentially remained unchanged for over 50 years.

Best Innovative & State-of-the-Art Award

The Sway Lounge Chair manufactured for KI Furniture won the Best Innovative & State-of-the-Art Awards. Dutchland worked closely with the designers at KI to develop this very unique rotomolded chair that utilizes a pivot mechanism to swivel and tilt. The Sway Lounge Chair also won Innovative Product of the Year at NeoCon earlier this year.
